Prior to refurbishment, the existing exterior surfaces required thorough cleaning and preparation before a new coating system could be applied. As with many commercial and industrial buildings, exposure to weather, airborne contamination and general environmental conditions had affected the appearance of the existing finish over time.
Rather than simply applying a new coating over the existing surfaces, the building required a systematic preparation process to remove contamination and create a clean, suitably prepared substrate.
